    The sound of the starting gun will kick off the Day 1 of the Invictus Games at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre. Our warriors will be competing for the first ever Invictus Games medals in a range of track and field disciplines, all culminating in the 4x100m relays at the end of the competition.

    Accuracy, precision and nerve will all be put under intense strain during the head-to-head competition across 2 sessions. Here East will be the venue where our competitors will pit their skills of marksmanship against each other using both compound and recurve bows and aim for targets positioned 18m away.

    A newly-designed road circuit that loops around the Lee Valley VeloPark will be the home of Road Cycling at the Invictus Games. A variety of time trial and road race events will be fought out on solo and recumbent bikes for those precious Invictus Games medals.

    On Day 3 in the Copper Box Arena, expect end-to-end action from 8 nations as they compete in a 5 v 5 tournament. Across 3 sessions the teams will progress from pool matches through to the final at the end of the day.

    On adapted rowing machines the competitors will race over time and distance both as an individual and as a team. Staged in Here East spectators will be able to follow the action on the big screen to see who is awarded an Invictus Games medal.

    Sunday 14 September | 10:00 -

    Competitors will take part in either a lightweight or heavyweight category in powerlifting. A purpose built arena will spotlight each competitor who will take to the stage to chest press their maximum weight.

    Sunday 14 September | 12:00 -

    Nations will take to the pool in the London Aquatics Centre to compete over 50m and 100 in the backstroke and freestyle events. The swimming proceedings will be concluded in a number of team relay contests which promise to get spectators onto the edge of their seats.

    Sunday 14 September | 08:30 -

    9 teams will take to 3 courts on Day 4 in the Copper Box. The medals awarded here will be the final medals of the Invictus Games. Are we saving the best to last? You’ll have to see it to decide.
