Vinod Budhathoki was injured when he accidently stepped on a hidden IED that blew his legs off. Since his injury, Budhathoki has taken part in a number of sports competitions through the Help for Heroes recovery program. He has taken part in tandem jumps, waters sports and piloted micro light planes. Budhathoki will be competing in Cycling and Sitting Volley Ball.
