Jason Sturley injured his leg whilst serving in the Solomon Islands, which led to him being diagnosed with septicaemia and having his leg amputated above the knee. Since then Jason has been posted to the 2nd Engineer Regiment, and will be representing New Zealand in a number of sporting events.
