Geraint Price served as a Corporal in the Royal Engineers as an armoured engineer and electrician. Always an active sports person, Price was diagnosed with gradual onset Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. He got involved with Help for Heroes Sports Recovery through his personnel recovery unit, whilst still in the Army…“I got into a chair on the first day of my recovery and loved it! I came home and told my dad all about it. We were glued to the Paralympic coverage and then looked for a club”. Geraint and his dad both play for Cardiff Celts Wheelchair Basketball, and is proud to be representing the British Armed Forces in the sport as well as Wheelchair Rugby.
