Lance Bombardier Gary Prout, was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross, the UK’s second highest medal for bravery, for his actions in Afghanistan.
Since returning home from the front line, Prout has developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome in his right leg. However, using the power of sport during his recovery process, Prout took up Archery and is proud to be representing the British Armed Forces in the Invictus Games.
