SFC Garcia went through Special Forces Assessment and Selection in 2001, and following completion of the Qualification Course, was assigned to 7th Special Forces Group. SFC Garcia has deployed numerous times to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Latin America. After suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury, Emilio developed epilepsy, for which he is currently receiving medical treatment. He will be competing in Athletics, Powerlifting and Swimming.
